Are food and drink included in the rental?

As part of our service we provide Taste of Istria food and beverage package which includes both breakfast but also some additions. We additionally offer grocery shopping as per you request at actual cost with delivery service fee. Wine and homegrown olive oil can be purchased in the house. A private chef, wine tasting or a bartender can be arranged, subject to availability, at cost.

What if I am food intolerant or have limits?

We will be sending you a questionnaire asking about your preferences and limitations prior to your arrival where you can share information about any of your special needs/requests.

What time is breakfast served?

Between 8:00 and 12:00 according to your preference.

How far is parking from the residence?

The Residence is located in the Old Town of Rovinj which is a pedestrian zone. The Residence however has 3 parking spaces for its exclusive use about 900 meters from the Residence free of charge. Shuttle service is secured for your transportation to and from parking.

Can I call your shuttle service for going to the beach?

We can provide this service with a request in advance.

What are your terms of reservation?

Prepayment at time of reservation of 30%, rest payable at latest 7 days before arrival. Free cancellation 30 days before the arrival date. 30 days to 7 days, we charge 30% of the reservation value. Payment can be made either by wire transfer or by credit card. 

DEPOSIT is required at check-in for 10% of the total price. 

What are the check in and check out times?

Check-in is at 15h on the day of arrival and check-out is at 10h on the day of departure.

Can we have an early check in or late check out?

We cannot guarantee this but are happy to accommodate these requests whenever possible.

Is there a minimum stay?

The minimum stay in July and August is 7 days.
The minimum stay during the rest of the year is 5 days.

Do you require damage deposit?

Yes, we take a 5000 Euro damage deposit which is returned providing there is no damage to the property. 

Do you offer discount if residence is rented by less than 12 people?

No, price is for usage of the whole Residence, regardless of number of people using it.

Cancellation policy?

Cancellations can be made up to 14 days before arrival without any charge.

Do you allow pets?

No.

Is smoking allowed in the residence?

The Malipiero Residence is a no-smoking environment. Smoking is only allowed on the 4th level outdoor terrace. 

Out of consideration to other guests this no-smoking policy is strictly enforced. In addition to a EUR 1,000 cost to help remove the smoke from the Residence’s furniture, breach of this no-smoking policy will be cause for extraordinary cancelation of your reservation without refund. Please respect this important rule.

Yes. 
 

How does the handover of the house work?

You will be provided with directions to Malipiero Residence parking where you will be picked up by our shuttle service and transferred to the Residence where you will be welcomed by our Lifestyle Manager who will give you a house tour and formally register your stay (unless you chose to do so prearrival). 

Is it possible to do remote check-in registration?

Yes. You will be provided with option to do remote check-in registration prior to your arrival which is done by filling in a form with your passenger details.

Is residence child-friendly?

Residence has 7 floors. We can provide children safety gates as well as all other baby and young children equipment.

Do you provide beach towels?

Yes.

Do you provide extra beds?

We provide baby cot at your request, however, we do not provide extra beds. The Residence has a maximum capacity of 12 overnight guest.

Is there any staff at the residence?

We can provide as much support or privacy as you request. We offer daily rooms set up with towels exchange at your indication. Sheets are normally changed every 3 day unless you specify differently. We also offer breakfast preparation at the Residence at no extra charge. Dinner can also be organized on a cost basis. 

Do you provide baby cot, high-chair, kids step and potty?

Yes.

How do I book extra services?

Prior to your arrival a link will be sent with a list of services and during your stay you can always contact a Lifestyle Manager.

What if I need to cancel a booked service?

Cancellation periods varies for different services. Lifestyle Manager will provide more information.

Is airport transfer included or offered?

It is offered as extra service at cost.

Who will take care of any problems that may arise during our stay?

Lifestyle manager will be at your disposal 24/7.
